Getting to the Banff Lake Cruise

The Banff Lake Cruise is located at Lake Minnewanka, a 15 minute drive from the town site of Banff along the Minnewanka Loop Drive, in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

Lake Minnewanka is one of Banff’s most popular destinations and the parking lot fills quickly. For the best experience, we recommend taking the Bow Valley Roam Transit from the Banff townsite to the lake. This shuttle runs hourly from 8 AM to 8 PM until Sept 10, 2017 and this route is FREE to all guests.

Brewster Sightseeing Tours also provides tours from Banff to arrive at the lake just prior to some departures. They have pick-up service at most of the major hotels and motels in Banff. They will also bring you back to your hotel after your cruise.

Google Maps has been incorrectly reporting the location for Banff Lake Cruise as the Brewster head office, within the town of Banff.

The Banff Lake Cruise is located at Lake Minnewanka, 15 minutes from the Banff townsite.

If using Google Maps to get directions to the Lake please enter "Lake Minnewanka Parking Lot" while we await this issue to be corrected by Google.

Please leave adequate time to travel to Lake Minnewanka and arrive at the boat house 30 minutes prior to your cruise depature time.
