Lake Minnewanka is an angler's playground. It's the only lake in Banff National Park where power boats are welcomed.

Come and try your luck fishing in one of our 16-foot aluminum motorboats available for rent. Or, if fishing isn't your game, you and your family can simply enjoy a leisurely hour or two exploring the lake. Our rental boats come complete with all the necessary safety equipment and gas.

Our rental boats are not bookable online.  They are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Lake Minnewanka docks. For boat rental inquiries, please call our boathouse at 403.762.3473.

At this time, there are no impacts or disruptions to our operations.

Those with respiratory conditions should take precaution when visiting the area while smoke advisories are in place.

We are working closely with our partners to monitor and stay informed about the wildfire to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information.
