DAY 1 – Arriving in Calgary
Transfer (not included) to your Calgary hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring Calgary. Visit the Zoo, take in a football game, stroll the riverside pathways and dine on the world's finest beef. DAY 2 – Sightseeing Calgary to Banff
Today, travel through the foothills and peaks of the Rockies to the resort town of Banff. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing excursion with highlights including a visit to the hoodoos, shaped by centuries of wind, and a scenic drive overlooking the Bow Falls. Enjoy a ride on the Banff Gondola (included) as you're lifted to the top of Sulphur Mountain and experience the incredible panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding mountains. At Lake Minnewanka, the longest lake in the Canadian Rockies mountain parks, enjoy the picturesque landscape during a scenic boat cruise (included). DAY 3 – Exploring Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley
Today, your excursion will journey to beautiful Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon, and the world famous Lake Louise, one of the most stunning emerald green lakes in the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy a walk to the lakeshore and the freedom to explore the magnificent Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. A visit to Emerald Lake and Yoho National Park to see Takakkaw Falls, the third-highest waterfall in Canada, will provide countless opportunities to capture the beauty of these magnificent sights. The excursion will conclude on arrival at your Banff hotel.
DAYS 4 & 5 – "Rocky Mountaineer" to Kamloops and Vancouver
All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer for a two day luxurious rail adventure. Experience the spectacular Kicking Horse Pass landscape and the Spiral Tunnels as you wind your way through the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. After an overnight stay in Kamloops, it’s en route to Vancouver; enjoy the picturesque views as the Rocky Mountaineer follows the Thompson and Fraser Rivers to Hell's Gate Canyon. A delicious breakfast and lunch are served onboard, to keep you satisfied until you arrive at your destination, Vancouver. Following a taxi transfer to your hotel, the remainder of the day is free for you to explore.
DAY 6 – Departing Vancouver
A late morning check-out from your Vancouver hotel will conclude your tour.
