DAY 1 - Sightseeing Calgary to Banff

Today, travel through the foothills and peaks of the Rockies to the resort town of Banff. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing excursion with highlights including a visit to the hoodoos, shaped by centuries of wind, and a scenic drive overlooking the Bow Falls. Enjoy a ride on the Banff Gondola (included) as you're lifted to the top of Sulphur Mountain and experience the incredible panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding majestic mountains. The excursion will conclude on arrival at your hotel, and the remainder of the day is free for you to explore.

DAY 2 – Exploring Banff

Banff is yours to explore today. Relax or take a scenic stroll along the Bow River walking trails. Explore the countless shops that line the streets of Banff and visit some of the famous Banff museums that portray the town's historic significance.  The afternoon excursion will take you to Lake Minnewanka, the longest lake in the Canadian Rockies mountain parks where you will enjoy the picturesque landscape during a scenic boat cruise (included). A visit to the Whyte Museum to experience some amazing historical galleries and interactive displays will be the perfect end to your day.

DAY 3 – Visiting the Columbia Icefield and Jasper

Sit back and relax as a Brewster motor coach and experienced driver guide you along Canada’s most scenic mountain roadway; the Icefields Parkway. This route is home to over one hundred visible glaciers, turquoise lakes and rushing waterfalls. At the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, enjoy a ride on one of our Ice Explorers (included) as it takes you on a tour of the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. After a stop at the newly opened Glacier Skywalk (included), you will continue on to Jasper for your overnight stay.

DAY 4 – Exploring Jasper

This morning, your excursion will begin along the mighty Athabasca (Canadian Heritage) River and provide fascinating information about David Thompson and the valley ecosystem. Travel above Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls created by 10,000 years of water flow. Visit a place of mystery and First Nations legend as you continue to Medicine Lake, which actually disappears during the fall and winter! Enjoy the wildlife sightings as you journey back to Jasper to spend the remainder of your day at leisure.

DAY 5 – Jasper to Lake Louise

The morning is yours to explore the charming mountain village of Jasper. In the afternoon, depart Jasper and travel back along the amazing Icefields Parkway, enjoying the magnificent scenery. Your journey continues until you arrive at your destination, the world famous Lake Louise, one of the most stunning emerald green lakes in the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy a walk to the lakeshore and the freedom to explore the magnificent Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, the remainder of the day is free to explore on your own and enjoy your overnight stay.

DAY 6 – Exploring Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley

Experience the many scenic highlights surrounding Lake Louise, including stops in Banff and Yoho National Parks.  Photograph the vivid blue waters of Moraine Lake and Valley of the Ten Peaks. Ascend Kicking Horse Pass, and descend into the beautiful Yoho Valley. Gaze up at Takakkaw Falls, the highest waterfall in the Canadian Rockies. Learn about the Spiral Tunnels that wind through the mountains, and soak up some serenity at Emerald Lake. Enjoy an additional evening at Lake Louise.

DAY 7 – Lake Louise to Calgary

Conclude this memorable holiday with a shuttle transfer from your Lake Louise hotel to the Calgary Airport.
