Day 1 – Calgary Arrival

Welcome to the western city of Calgary! Board a luxury motor coach for a scenic drive through Alberta’s cowboy country and rolling foothills. Continue to the Canadian Rockies and the resort town of Banff. Spend a day exploring this hub of mountain art and culture. Stroll through the bustling streets of downtown, take a walk along the Bow River trails, or rent a canoe to explore further afield.

Day 2 – Banff to Lake Louise

Visit Banff’s top sights and historic attractions during a morning tour. Learn the historical significance of the hoodoo rock formations, and photograph Bow Falls. Look out over the scenic waters of Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka. Take a gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for a 360 degree view of the surrounding peaks and Banff townsite far below. Depart Banff and travel west to the beautiful setting of Lake Louise.

Day 3 – Lake Louise

Get acquainted with the scenic wonders of Banff & Yoho National Parks during an afternoon tour. Photograph the spectacular beauty of Moraine Lake and Valley of the Ten Peaks. Look way up at Takakkaw Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in Canada. Take a stroll along the shores of Emerald Lake. Enjoy an evening at leisure in Lake Louise.

Day 4 - Lake Louise to Kamloops

All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer sightseeing train headed towards Kamloops. Gaze out over ever-changing scenery as rugged mountain peaks transition to forested hills and wide open valleys. Travel through the untouched wilderness of Kicking Horse Pass and Roger’s Pass. Continue into the serene beauty of the Okanagan orchard and wine region, with an overnight stay in the city of Kamloops.

Day 5 – Kamloops to Vancouver

Enjoy a second day aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train bound for the Pacific Coast and the city of Vancouver. Pass over Hell’s Gate Canyon where 200 million gallons of water per minute thunder through a 33-metre-wide passage. Continue through the rugged Fraser Valley towards the Pacific Ocean. Breathe in the fresh sea air and spend an evening relaxing in Vancouver.

Day 6 – Vancouver Departure

This memorable holiday concludes upon check-out from your downtown Vancouver hotel.
