Jasper National Park is the wildest of the Canadian Rocky Mountain parks, and home to large populations of wildlife including grizzly bears, moose, caribou and wolves. It’s renowned for the quality of its backcountry trails, as well as the excellent skiing at Marmot Basin.

As a small but lively tourist destination, it has a varied and eclectic selection of restaurants, and a diverse range of shops, including some selling all the latest equipment for your trip.
Jasper is also at the Northern end of the Icefields Parkway, the dramatic and scenic route that leads down through the Columbia Icefields
to Banff National Park
