Brewster Unveils New Brand Identity: Brewster Travel Canada
For more than a century, Brewster Incorporated has been the standard of excellence for those traveling in Banff National Park and the surrounding areas of the Canadian Rockies. Since the company’s founding in 1892, there have been a number of changes in the world and within Brewster itself, but what has never wavered is our group’s desire to be the premier provider of authentic travel experiences in one of the world’s most spectacular natural locations.
As times change, so must our business evolve. Our service offering has, over time, evolved to include not just exceptional transportation services, lodging options, and travel planning, but also excursions like lake cruising, glacier tours, our marquee Banff Gondola, and more. It is now time for our brand to reflect the breadth and culture of our company.
After an extensive 10-month audit which included exhaustive research and numerous interviews with members of the internal management team, customers, partners and suppliers – we are now preparing to launch what we are certain will soon be Canada’s most recognizable travel brand.
Today, I proudly introduce to you Brewster Travel Canada. Although the change is subtle, the new name more accurately represents the full-service travel company Brewster has become. Brewster Travel Canada is built on four pillars:
1. Travel planning, or “Escape”
2. Transportation, or “Connect”
3. Hospitality, or “Refresh”
4. Attractions, or “Explore”
The Escape, Connect, Refresh, and Explore pillars will be architecture within which all of Brewster Travel Canada’s services will be organized, be they on the web, in signage or collateral, or on advertising.
Along with the new name and four-pillar structure comes a new, more contemporary look to represent our company. We have worked with an award-winning design team to develop a fresh new color palette, modern icons and even name changes to some of our businesses. Brewster Travel Canada will re-introduce itself to the world this fall, and we ask for your support as we begin this transition.
Every part of our business will receive an “Extreme Brand Makeover” incorporating the new colors, logos, uniforms and brand elements - we may be over 100 years old, but that doesn’t mean we have to look like it!
We anticipate the complete re-brand process taking the next 12 months, and again, we thank you for your support during the transition period. This is an exciting time at Brewster, and we are thrilled to share our new look and vision with all of our employees, customers, partners and associates. I invite you to preview our new look and brand architecture on the pages below. As you review these documents, I encourage you to contact our team if you have any questions.
