DAY 1 – Arriving in Montreal

Arrive in the multicultural city of Montreal and spend your day exploring. Montreal is located in the province of Quebec, and is named after Mount Royal, a large hill dominating the skyline. The official language of the city is French, although most residents are bilingual and speak English as a second language.

DAY 2 –  Montreal

Enjoy a guided tour of the city’s landmarks including Place Ville Marie, Mont Royal, St. Catherine Street, and the Old Port. Don’t miss the cobblestone streets and historic stone buildings of Old Montreal. Take a peek into the magnificent architectural wonder of the Notre Dame Basilica while in Old Montreal

DAY 3 – Montreal to Quebec City

Depart Montreal in the comfort of first class service aboard a VIA Rail corridor train. Arrive in Quebec City, North America’s only remaining fortified city. Immerse yourself in the authentic old-world charm of this beautiful location with a wander through the maze of cobblestone streets.

DAY 4 –  Quebec City

Spend a day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Quebec. Begin with a guided tour through the city’s highlights including architectural landmarks, the Plans of Abraham, and the Citadel. Your afternoon is free to visit the shops and cafes of downtown. Don’t miss a visit to the famous Quebec department store – Simon’s. Finish off your day with a traditional Quebecois dinner at Aux Anciens Canadiens restaurant.

DAY 5 –  Quebec City Departure

This memorable holiday concludes with a morning check-out from your hotel.

Final payment is due at 70 days prior to tour departure. Tours booked within 65 days require full payment before reservations can be confirmed. Infants (less than 2 years old) travelling with an adult (and not occupying a seat) travel free of charge on most services.
