DAY 1 – Arriving in Montreal

Upon arrival at Montreal International Airport, make your way independently to your downtown hotel. The remainder of your day is free to enjoy this eclectic French-speaking city. 

DAY 2 –  Exploring Montreal

Today, join a morning sightseeing tour (included) and explore the highlights and distinctively different districts of this chic French city. Wander the snow-covered cobblestone streets of Old Montréal, take in the stretching views form Mount Royal Lookout or visit the campus of McGill University and modern Place Des Arts. Enjoy a tour of the impressively ornate Notre Dame Basilica (included) and the stunning architecture of the Notre-Dame du Sacre-Coeur Chapel.Other tour highlights include Olympic Park, Montreal Harbour, St Joseph's Oratory and City Hall. Complete your day with a delicious, authentic French-themed dinner at the Auberge Saint Gabriel restaurant (included).

DAY 3 – Montreal and VIA Rail

Enjoy the views from Montreal Tower Observatory (included), the highest inclined tower in the world. This 175 metre tower stands at a 45 degree angle, and provides visitors with a spectacular view of the city and Laurentian Mountains. In the afternoon, make your way independently to the train station where you will board VIA Rail's overnight train service headed east to the coastal city of Halifax. 

DAY 4 –  Arriving in Halifax

Enjoy some relaxation with lunch on board the train (included) as you continue your rail journey through the Maritimes, Canada's easternmost provinces. Following a late afternoon arrival in Halifax, make your way independently to your downtown hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 5 –  Exploring Halifax

oday is free to enjoy the sights of Halifax. This East Coast gem of a city is full of character, and colourful personalities. Stroll along the ocean front walking paths, and check out the unique Maritime architecture and downtown shops. Continue your exploration with a stop at the Halifax Museum of Natural History (included). Discover the natural wonders of Nova Scotia all under one roof in the heart of Halifax city. During the evening, indulge in the freshest seafood in the country as you enjoy a delicious dinner at Five Fisherman restaurant (included). 

DAY 6 - Departing Halifax

Your memorable East Coast adventure concludes with a morning check-out from your hotel.

All prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to international exchange rate fluctuations. Infants (less than 2 years old) travelling with an adult and not occupying a seat may travel free of charge. For children 2-11 years old, we provide reduced rates – please contact one of our vacation planners at 1-877-791-5500 for more information. A deposit of $200 per person is due at time of booking (unless otherwise stated at the time of booking). Final payment is due 45 days prior to tour departure. Tours booked within 45 days of departure require full payment before reservations can be confirmed.
