DAY 1 -  Toronto Arrival

Arrive in Toronto, and spend the remainder of your day exploring Canada's most cosmopolitan city. Walk amongst the soaring glass towers of downtown, stroll along the lakeshore, or check out the historic cultural districts of this fascinating city. Don't miss the hand crafted food and delicious produce of St. Lawrence Market, or the eclectic shops and cafés of Little Italy. 

DAY 2 – Toronto & Niagara Falls

Enjoy a full day tour through the highlights of the Niagara area. Stand on a viewing platform overlooking Horseshoe Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Follow up with a Hornblower boat cruise to the base of the falls. Feel the thunder of the water as it plummets over the falls into the gorge below. Continue along the scenic River Road to the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Return to Toronto for an evening at leisure.

DAY 3, 4 & 5 – VIA Rail to Jasper

All aboard the VIA Rail Canadian train for the trip of a lifetime from Eastern Canada to the Rocky Mountains. Gaze out over the ever-changing scenery as the train traverses through the northern forests and rocky Canadian Shield, to the golden prairies, to the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges. Enjoy first class amenities aboard the train including the dining car, dome viewing car, lounge car, and games car. Drift off to sleep each night in a sleeper car beneath a cozy down duvet.

DAY 6 – Jasper Arrival

Arrive at the Jasper train station and spend the remainder of your day exploring this quaint mountain town. Take a wander along one of many scenic hiking trails, and check out the eclectic shops and galleries of downtown. Wildlife is plentiful in the areas surrounding Jasper, for the wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

DAY 7 – Jasper to Banff

Journey southwards into Banff National Park along the remarkable Icefields Parkway. Enjoy a stop at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre for an interpretive Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue to the Glacier Skywalk and stand on a glass platform suspended 918 feet above the natural ecosystem of the Sunwapta Valley. Gaze out at the natural wonders of the parkway including Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, and Bow Summit.  Arrive in the bustling resort town of Banff for an evening at leisure.

DAY 8 – Banff

Join a morning tour through the scenic highlights of Banff with a knowledgeable driver-guide. Visit the Hoodoo rock formations shaped by centuries of wind and rain. Photograph Bow Falls, and look up at the Banff Springs Hotel. At the Banff Gondola, see more mountains in a minute that most see in a lifetime. Tour past Two Jack Lake on your way to Lake Minnewanka. Enjoy a boat cruise to the landmark Devil's Gap that opens up to the foothills and prairies beyond the Rockies. Spend the remainder of your day exploring Banff.

DAY 9 – Banff to Sun Peaks

Depart Banff and travel along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway through the heart of Banff National Park. Stand on the shores of Lake Louise, surrounded by towering mountains, and take a quick stroll around the lake. Continue into the province of British Columbia, as the highway ascends through the spectacular, untouched wilderness of Rogers’s Pass. Stop for lunch in the alpine town of Revelstoke before continuing towards Okanagan Lake Country. The landscape transitions from rugged peaks to forested hills and expansive lakes. Continue through the desert-like hills surrounding Kamloops, as the road climbs through the Shuswap Highlands into the mountain region of Sun Peaks.  Enjoy an evening at leisure in the quaint mountain village of Sun Peaks.

DAY 10 – Sun Peaks to Vancouver

Continue your journey toward Vancouver, passing from forested mountains into the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy country.  Follow the Thompson River Valley through Spence's Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold rush of the 1850s. Continue south toward Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon. Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offer a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Following lunch, wind along the mighty Fraser River through lush pastoral valleys, passing into the urban centres of Abbotsford, Langley, and Surrey. Conclude in the coastal city of Vancouver, surrounded by spectacular ocean views and the impressive peaks of the Coast Mountains. 

DAY 11 – Vancouver Departure

Conclude your memorable holiday with a morning check-out from your downtown Vancouver hotel.
