Guided Fishing Trips

Lake Minnewanka offers the premier Banff fishing experience in Banff National Park. All boats are fully equipped with everything you’ll need; including rods, reels, tackle, and modern fish tracking equipment to help locate the fish. Three fishing trips are available:

  • Fishing Experience: This three hour trip is the perfect introductory to fishing or for the angler who is traveling with family less keen to fish than he is. The Fishing Experience is a group trip purchased by the seat rather than the boat. National Park fishing licence included.
  • Private Half Day: A four hour half day private trip for the fishing enthusiast keen to have the boat and the guide to themselves.
  • Private Full Day: This six and a half hour, full day fishing trip includes lunch and is ideal for the angler who wants to get as many hours fishing as possible.
All of our guided fishing trips are only bookable at the Lake Minnewanka boathouse or by phoning: 403.762.3473. Reservations and a deposit may be required.
