DAY 1 - Vancouver Arrival

Welcome to the metropolitan city of Vancouver! Enjoy a day exploring this urban oasis, with much to see and discover including Stanley Park, historic Gastown, English Bay, and the unique shops and artisan food markets of Granville Island. Get acquainted with Canada’s scenic highlights during a coast to coast flight simulation at FlyOver Canada. Your evening is at leisure to explore downtown Vancouver or relax by the waterfront.

DAY 2 - Vancouver to Sun Peaks

Depart the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver and travel east as city-scapes transition to pastoral farmland and lush valleys as the highway follows the Fraser River. Continue north towards Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon. Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offers a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Pass through Spence’s Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1850’s. Wind along the Thompson River through the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy country. The road climbs steadily up from Kamloops through the Shuswap Highlands into the mountain region of Sun Peaks. Enjoy an evening stroll through this scenic alpine village, and keep your eye out for wildlife photo opportunities.

DAY 3 - Sun Peaks to Banff

Continue your journey west passing through grassy rolling hills and ranchlands to Okanagan Lake Country. The landscape transitions into forested hills, orchards, and expansive lakes, winding through a series of scenic valleys. Witness the landscape change from wide open skies to towering rugged peaks as you ascend into the Rocky Mountains. Stop for lunch in the alpine town of Revelstoke before continuing through the untouched wilderness of Roger’s Pass. Stand on the shores of Lake Louise surrounding by towering mountains, and take a quick stroll around the lake. Continue along the Bow Valley Parkway through the heart of Banff National Park to the resort town of Banff.

DAY 4 - Banff & Columbia Icefields

Join a full day tour along the famous Icefields Parkway to Columbia Icefields. Travel through mountain corridors surrounded by rugged peaks, sparkling glaciers, and aquamarine lakes. Pass by scenic landmarks including Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, and Bow Lake. Take an all-terrain Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier, and step out high above Sunwapta Valley at the Glacier Skywalk. Return to Banff for an evening at leisure.

DAY 5 - Banff to Calgary

Discover the sights and landmarks of Banff National Park with a morning tour. Learn about the hoodoo rock formations that stand like sentinels above the Bow Valley. Photograph Bow Falls, and look down at the Bow River and Banff Springs Hotel from Surprise Corner lookout. Gaze out over the emerald waters of Two Jack Lake. Take a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain at the Banff Gondola. Continue with a transfer to the city of Calgary where your holiday concludes upon arrival at the Calgary Airport.
