DAY 1 – Vancouver Arrival

Arrive in the metropolitan city of Vancouver and spend the remainder of your day exploring this coastal city. Get a preview of the dynamic scenery and geographic landmarks from coast to coast at FlyOver Canada. This flight simulation takes you across the country with spectacular views from above as the simulation travels from western Coast Mountains to the Maritime provinces of the east.

DAY 2 – Vancouver to Sun Peaks

Depart the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver and travel east, through the urban centres of Surrey, Langley, and Abbotsford. City-scapes transition to pastoral farmland and lush valleys as the highway follows the Fraser River. Continue north towards Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon. Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offer a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Pass through Spence’s Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1850’s. Wind along the Thompson River through the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy country. The road climbs steadily up from Kamloops through the Shuswap Highlands into the mountain region of Sun Peaks. Enjoy an evening stroll and keep your eye out for wildlife photo opportunities. 

DAY 3 – Sun Peaks to Banff

Continue your journey west, passing through grassy rolling hills and to Okanagan Lake Country. The landscape transitions into forested hills, orchards, and expansive lakes, winding through a series of scenic valleys. Witness the landscape change from wide open skies to towering rugged peaks as you ascend into the Rocky Mountains. Stop for lunch in the alpine town of Revelstoke, before continuing through the untouched wilderness of Roger’s Pass. Stand on the shores of Lake Louise, surrounded by towering mountains, and take a quick stroll around the lake. Continue along the Bow Valley Parkway through the heart of Banff National Park.  

DAY 4 - Banff

Join a morning tour through the scenic highlights of Banff with a knowledgeable driver-guide. Visit the Hoodoo rock formations shaped by centuries of wind and rain. Photograph Bow Falls, and look up at the Banff Springs Hotel. At the Banff Gondola, see more mountains in a minute that most see in a lifetime. Tour past Two Jack Lake on your way to Lake Minnewanka. Enjoy a boat cruise to the landmark Devil's Gap that opens up to the foothills and prairies beyond the Rockies. Spend the remainder of your day exploring Banff.

DAY 5 – Banff to Jasper Sightseeing

Journey northwards into Jasper National Park along the remarkable Icefields Parkway. Enjoy a stop at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre for an interpretive Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue to the Glacier Skywalk and stand on a glass platform suspended 918 feet above the natural ecosystem of the Sunwapta Valley. A final stop at the thundering natural wonder of Athabasca Falls completes this fascinating day of sightseeing. Arrive in the quaint mountain town of Jasper for an evening at leisure.

DAY 6, 7 & 8 – VIA Rail to Toronto

All aboard the VIA Rail Canadian train for the trip of a lifetime from the Rockies to Eastern Canada. Gaze out over the ever-changing scenery as the train traverses through the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges to the golden prairies, to the northern forests and rocky Canadian Shield. Enjoy first class amenities aboard the train including the dining car, dome viewing car, lounge car, and games car. Drift off to sleep each night in a sleeper car beneath a cozy down duvet.

DAY 9 – Toronto Arrival

Arrive at Union Station in heart of Toronto, and spend the remainder of your day exploring Canada's most cosmopolitan city. Walk amongst the soaring glass towers of downtown, stroll along the lakeshore, or check out the historic cultural districts of this fascinating city. Don't miss the hand crafted food and delicious produce of St. Lawrence Market, or the eclectic shops and cafés of Little Italy. 

DAY 10 – Toronto & Niagara Falls

Enjoy a full day tour through the highlights of the Niagara area. Stand on a viewing platform overlooking Horseshoe Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Follow up with a Hornblower boat cruise to the base of the falls. Feel the thunder of the water as it plummets over the falls into the gorge below. Continue along the scenic River Road to the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Return to Toronto for an evening at leisure.

DAY 11- Toronto Departure

This Canadian adventure concludes with a morning check-out from your hotel.
