Day 1 – Vancouver Arrival

Arrive in Vancouver and enjoy an evening exploring this metropolitan hub of arts and culture. Visit the Vancouver Lookout Tower for a fascinating overview of Vancouver’s modern architecture, with views extending to the Coast Mountains and Pacific Coast.

Day 2 – Vancouver to Sonora Resort

The morning is yours to explore Vancouver. Check out the artisan foods of Granville Island Market, take a walk in the urban rainforest of Stanley Park, or shop to your heart’s content on Robson Street. Browse through the national and international art exhibitions at Vancouver Art Gallery before checking in for your flight to Sonora Island at the Vancouver Airport. A breathtaking helicopter ride over the Strait of Georgia and Vancouver Island’s rugged coastline concludes at Sonora Resort. Relax and enjoy the luxury accommodations, five-star amenities, and unparalleled service of this wilderness retreat.

Day 3 – Sonora Resort Eco Tour

Enjoy a boat tour through the spectacular coastal wilderness surrounding Sonora Resort. Venture out on the protected inlets of the Discovery Islands. Offering spectacular views of the coastline, and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities, this Eco Boat Tour is a great way to begin your day. Watch for sea lions, porpoises, and dolphins. Witness eagles swoop and pluck fish from the water. The remainder of your day is free to enjoy the plentiful amenities of Sonora Resort including a swimming pool, biking trails, a putting green, movie theatre and fly fishing ponds.

Day 4 – Sonora Resort

Spend another day in the peaceful natural setting of Sonora Resort. Choose from a variety of outdoor activities including sport fishing, guided kayaking, and Grizzly Bear viewing. Spa lovers can treat themselves to a day of rejuvenation at the onsite spa.

Day 5 – Sonora Resort to Vancouver

Board a helicopter for your return flight to Vancouver. The remainder of your day is free to explore the many landmark sights of the city. Browse through the trendy boutiques and galleries of historic Gastown, or venture to the North Shore and visit Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. Outdoor enthusiasts can rent a bike or kayak to explore Vancouver’s trails and beaches.

Days 6 & 7 – Rocky Mountaineer to Banff

All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer for a two-day rail adventure. Enjoy picturesque views as the Rocky Mountaineer travels through the Pacific Coastal Mountains and Hell's Gate Canyon to Kamloops. After an overnight stay in Kamloops, continue your luxury train touring to Banff. Experience the spectacular Kicking Horse Pass and the Spiral Tunnels as you wind your way through the majestic valleys of the Canadian Rockies. A delicious breakfast and lunch are served onboard, to keep you satisfied until you arrive at your destination, Banff. Following a private transfer to your hotel, the remainder of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 8 – Columbia Icefield Day Trip

Today, travel through the rugged expanse of wilderness surrounding the Icefields Parkway with a private sedan tour. This route is home to over 100 visible glaciers, turquoise lakes, and rushing waterfalls. At the Columbia Icefields, board an all-terrain Ice Explorer and venture onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Step out on a glass viewing platform suspended 918 feet above Sunwapta Valley at the Glacier Skywalk. Return along the scenic Bow Valley Corridor to Banff for an evening at leisure.

Day 9 – Banff

Spend the morning Canada’s first national park. Visit scenic highlights including Bow Falls, Two Jack Lake, and Surprise Corner. Learn about the historical significance of Hoodoo rock formations overlooking the Bow Valley.  At Banff Gondola, ascend to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding peaks and the Banff town site far below. Enjoy an interpretive boat cruise at Lake Minnewanka and watch for wildlife at the water’s edge. Enjoy a leisurely night in Banff.

Day 10 – Banff to Calgary

This unique holiday concludes with a private sedan transfer from Banff to the Calgary International Airport.
