Continue east by Rocky Mountaineer luxury sightseeing train. Pass through dynamic landscapes that transition from evergreen-covered peaks to desert-like hills to lush pastoral valleys. The train travels into the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains, arriving in Jasper National Park.

Experience the Icefield Parkway by luxury motor coach, with a knowledgeable Brewster driver providing informative commentary and insights into explorers and expeditions of bygone days. The tour continues to Banff, Canada's first National Park. Enjoy the Banff Lake Cruise as it follows the shoreline of Lake Minnewanka. Stroll a boardwalk that traverses from the Peak of Sulphur Mountain to an historic weather station on Sanson Peak. A scenic seven-minute ride up the Banff Gondola provides access to a whole new world of views and mountaintops, as far as the eye can see. Conclude with a drive through Alberta's foothills and ranchlands to Calgary, the cowboy hub of the west.

Day 1 – Vancouver Arrival

Welcome to the Pacific Coast and Vancouver! The day is yours to explore the many districts of this beautiful city. Sample locally produced artisanal food at Granville Island Market, take a stroll along the sea wall downtown, or explore the countless trails that wind through the 1,000-acre rainforest at Stanley Park.

Day 2 – Vancouver to Kamloops

All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer for a luxury rail trip from Vancouver to the Canadian Rockies. Travel through the Fraser River Valley and pass over the spectacular Hell’s Gate Canyon. Wind through dynamic landscapes, as lush, forested hills transition to dry desert peaks and into the beautiful Thompson River Valley. Disembark and spend the night in the welcoming city of Kamloops.

Day 3 – Kamloops to Jasper

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train for another day of fascinating sights. Travel through the Monashee and Caribou mountain ranges. Look way up at the towering peak of Mount Robson. Enter Jasper National Park and continue to the resort town of Jasper. Spend an evening soaking up the incredible scenery and quirky mountain culture of this charming alpine town.

Day 4 – Jasper to Banff

Travel the famous Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Banff by luxury motor coach. This route is home to over one hundred visible glaciers, turquoise lakes and rushing waterfalls. At the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, take an Ice Explorer onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. Tiptoe out on a glass platform suspended high above the Sunwapta Valley at the Glacier Skywalk. Follow the Bow Valley Corridor through the heart of Banff National Park to Banff.

Day 5 – Banff

Today, enjoy a sightseeing excursion through Banff’s highlights. Visit the hoodoo rock formations, shaped by centuries of wind. Photograph the roaring waters of Bow Falls. Enjoy a ride on to the top of Sulphur Mountain and experience incredible panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding mountains. Continue to Lake Minnewanka and enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the water’s edge. Enjoy an evening at leisure in Banff.

Day 6 – Banff to Calgary

Travel through the foothills of the Rockies into the golden prairies and the city of Calgary. This memorable holiday concludes upon arrival at the Calgary Airport.

Final payment is due at 65 days prior to tour departure. Tours booked within 65 days require full payment before reservations can be confirmed. Infants (less than 2 years old) travelling with an adult (and not occupying a seat) travel free of charge on most services.
