Itinerary

Day 1 – Vancouver Arrival

Arrive in the city of Vancouver and spend your day exploring this modern metropolis. Take a walk along the Pacific Ocean, visit to the urban rainforest of Stanley Park, browse through the trendy shops and galleries of historic Gastown, or venture to the North Shore and cross the Capilano Suspension Bridge into a world of natural beauty. Top off your day at FlyOver Canada with a fun and inventive flight simulation through the diverse landscapes and landmarks of Canada.

Day 2 – Vancouver to Sun Peaks

Depart the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver and travel east through the urban centres of Surrey, Langley, and Abbotsford. City-scapes transition to pastoral farmland and lush valleys as the highway follows the Fraser River. Continue north towards Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon. Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offer a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Pass through Spence’s Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1850’s. Wind along the Thompson River through the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy country. The road climbs steadily up from Kamloops through the Shuswap Highlands into the mountain region of Sun Peaks.

Day 3 – Sun Peaks to Banff

Continue your journey west, passing through grassy rolling hills and ranchlands to Okanagan Lake Country. The landscape transitions into forested hills, orchards, and expansive lakes, winding through a series of scenic valleys. Witness the landscape change from wide open skies to towering rugged peaks as you ascend into the Rocky Mountains. Stop for lunch in the alpine town of Revelstoke, before continuing through the untouched wilderness of Roger’s Pass. Stand on the shores of Lake Louise, surrounded by towering mountains, and take a quick stroll around the lake. Continue along the Bow Valley Parkway through the heart of Banff National Park, arriving in the resort town of Banff. 

Day 4 – Banff

Enjoy a morning tour of Banff National Park's landmark sights including the Hoodoo rock formations, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner lookout, and Two Jack Lake. Next, take an enchanting ride to the peak of Sulphur Mountain and look out over a sea of mountains that stretches as far as the eye can see. Continue to Lake Minnewanka for an interpretive boat cruise beneath the jagged peaks of Mount Aylmer and Mount Inglismaldie to Devil’s Gap. Big horn sheep, deer, and eagles are often spotted along the water’s edge. The remainder of your day is free to enjoy the bustling streets of Banff.

Day 5 – Banff to Jasper

Board a luxury motor coach for a scenic tour along the Icefield Parkway. This fascinating route is home to over 100 visible glaciers, turquoise lakes and rushing waterfalls. At Columbia Icefield, ride an all-terrain Ice Explorer onto the icy slopes of Athabasca Glacier. After a stop at the award-winning Glacier Skywalk, continue towards Jasper. Stop to photograph the scenic wonder of Athabasca Falls. Enjoy a leisurely evening in downtown Jasper.

Day 6 – Jasper

Discover the sights of Jasper National Park with a professional motorcycle tour guide. Hop on the back or in a the side-car for a unique tour through Jasper’s surroundings including Lac Beauvert, the Athabasca River Valley, and Maligne Canyon. The remainder of your day is free to enjoy the authentic mountain charm of the Jasper town site. Don’t miss the locally brewed beer sampler at Jasper Brewing Co, and make sure to stop by the Bear’s Paw Bakery for delectable pastries made in-house.

Day 7 – Jasper to Sun Peaks

Depart Jasper and travel through mountain corridors surrounded by glacier-covered peaks and glistening lakes. Glimpse views of towering Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Travel through Valemount, a haven for explorers, hikers, and skiers. View the beautiful landscapes of the Monashee and Caribou ranges, stopping in the resort town of Blue River for lunch. This outdoor haven is home to spectacular mountain views and a host of wildlife including deer, moose, bear, caribou and eagles. Continue west through the town of Clearwater, situated amongst forested mountain peaks and pristine lakes and rivers. Follow the Thompson River Valley south, surrounded by pastoral farmland and ranches. Ascend through the Shuswap Highlands into the alpine village of Sun Peaks.

Day 8 – Sun Peaks to Vancouver

Continue your journey toward Vancouver, passing from forested mountains to the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy country. Follow the Thompson River Valley through Spences Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold rush of the 1850s. Continue south toward Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon. Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offer a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Following lunch, wind along the mighty Fraser River through lush, pastoral valleys, passing into the urban centres of Abbotsford, Langley, and Surrey.
