Nestled in the centre of Maligne Lake, Spirit Island is one of the most iconic locations in the Rockies. This spectacular island is only accessible by boat and provides a truly magical backdrop for your ceremony, wedding photos or a celebratory cruise with your loved ones after your vows.

Wedding Venues

The Courtyard
Ample seating and a spectacular view make our stone courtyard the perfect place for your romantic outdoor ceremony. Our elegant shuttles will chauffeur your guests from their Jasper hotels to the ceremony and return everyone to town after the reception. Chairs and a large white tent are also provided.

The Chalet
Exquisite dinner receptions for up to 80 guests are held by the open-hearth fireplace in the historic Maligne Lake chalet. An enclosed veranda with views of Maligne Lake provides a comfortable place for you and your guests to celebrate and mingle outside of the main dining room.

The Guest House
Once a four-room guest house, this charming building has been renovated to provide a dressing area for the bridal party, a quiet place to momentarily retreat during the day, and an area where the youngest guests may be cared for during the reception. In-house coffee service is available to the bride and her attendants.

Your ceremony marks the beginning of your new life together. We offer a variety of different ceremony locations, so you can find one that is romantic, beautiful and perfect for you.

Complete Maligne Lake Grounds
Exclusive access to the entire Maligne Lake grounds. Your ceremony will be held in our scenic courtyard, with a tent for shade, and followed by an elegant seated dinner reception. Guests will be chauffeured from their Jasper hotels to the ceremony and back to town after the festivities. 

Accommodates up to 80 guests.
Spirit Island Ceremony
Take your guests on a spectacular cruise to the world-famous Spirit Island and exchange vows in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. A selection of refreshments are available onboard, so you can toast your newly minted nuptials.

Maximum 50 people per boat. Multiple boats are available.
Chalet Ceremony
Your gathering of friends and family will have exclusive use of the patio and chalet for a three-hour period. Just the right amount of time for your ceremony and an intimate reception. 

Monday to Thursday afternoons only.
Lakeside Viewpoint Ceremony
Enjoy a picturesque outdoor ceremony at the lakeside viewpoint with Maligne Lake as your backdrop. Building facilities and refreshments are not included with this intimate, streamlined ceremony; however, the Maligne Lake chalet is available for a weather-related back-up at a price of $1,500. 

Monday to Thursday only.
